Struck Oil

Struck Oil receiving office, on the Dee Goldfield, 8 km from Mount Morgan. The Receiving Office opened in 1895 and closed in 1897. The receiving office keeper was Elizabeth Linde, a storekeeper and wife of Peter Linde, a miner.
