Maroondan

Maroondan receiving office 6 km east north east of Gin Gin. It opened at the railway station in 1885 and was elevated to a post office in 1925. The  Receiving office keeper in 1885 was Ellen Summers, gatekeeper; 1886 E. Hayden; 1887 Mrs Lund and later that year Mrs Byrne, the station master
